Daughter of actors Sanjay Kapoor and Maheep Kapoor, Shanaya belongs to the illustrious Kapoor family. She made her much-awaited Bollywood acting debut in 2025 with Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan opposite Vikrant Massey. Though the film had a mixed response, her screen presence and performance were widely appreciated.

Shanaya is quickly moving forward with promising projects. Her next release is the survival thriller Tu Yaa Main (February 13, 2026) alongside Adarsh Gourav, directed by Bejoy Nambiar. She also has Bedhadak in the pipeline.
