Born on August 4, 1981, in Makrana, Rajasthan, Shama Sikander is a versatile Indian actress, model, and producer. She made her film debut at 16 with Prem Aggan (1998). She gained massive popularity on television with her lead role as Pooja Mehta in Yeh Meri Life Hai (2003–2005), winning several awards.

Shama has appeared in films like Mann (1999), Ansh: The Deadly Part (2002), Bypass Road (2019), and web series such as Maaya: Slave of Her Desires. Known for her bold choices, she has also produced content and explored fashion design.
