Shalini Pandey became widely known after her powerful debut in Arjun Reddy opposite Vijay Deverakonda. The film turned out to be a major success and gave her a strong start in the industry. In a recent interview, she looked back at her journey and shared her honest thoughts about the film and her career.

When asked whether Arjun Reddy would have become a pan-India success if it had released in today’s time, Shalini said she never thought about it that way. She explained that the film happened at the right time in her life. According to her, it was destiny and luck that made the film what it became. She expressed deep gratitude for the movie because it gave her a career and opened many doors. She also shared that today, a film is simply a film, no matter which language or region it belongs to. For her, art should not be divided by language.

Shalini also spoke about starting her career in the South industry instead of Bollywood. She said that her main goal was always to become an actor. Language and location were never her primary focus. She admitted that speaking her own language would naturally feel more comfortable, but what truly mattered was acting.
