Sayani Gupta Opens Up About the Reality Behind Glamour

Sayani Gupta is known for her honest voice, strong screen presence and choices. Recently, the actress shared a behind-the-scenes moment from one of her most memorable looks, reminding everyone that glamour often comes with hidden struggles.

In the Instagram photo, Sayani is seen standing on a beach, smiling confidently while holding a drink. She is wearing a silver metal dress covered with stones. The dress looks beautiful and eye-catching, but the actress revealed that it was one of the hardest outfits she has ever worn. Though it appears stylish on screen, the experience of wearing it was far from comfortable.

In her caption, Sayani openly spoke about the pain behind the look. She explained that the metal dress was very heavy and caused tiny cuts all over her body. The sharp edges of the metal rubbed against her skin, leaving marks similar to paper cuts. Still, she continued wearing it for the sake of her work. What made it even tougher was that she had to wear the same dress for three days to maintain continuity during shooting.

Despite the discomfort, Sayani felt the effort was worth it. She shared that stylist Aastha Sharma had once told her during the trial that no one else could carry the dress the way she did. Sayani responded to that comment with her usual honesty and humour. She joked that maybe no one else was “stupid enough” to try wearing such a painful dress.

The actress added that this look has earned a place in her personal “hall of looks” from the series Four More Shots Please. The show has been one of the most important projects in her career.

Apart from this show, Sayani is also part of Delhi Crime Season 3. The series focuses on intense police investigations.
