Sapthami Gowda vacay memories from Switzerland

Kannada actress Sapthami Gowda who became widely known after the success of Kantara recently shared beautiful vacation photos from Switzerland on her Instagram. The actress posted a series of pictures with the caption, “Just a ‘FEW’ vacay pictures! Wish I could put all 1000 pictures at once, like a physical photo album!”

Her post clearly shows how much she enjoyed her time abroad. In the photo, Sapthami can be seen standing beside a bicycle dressed in a stylish black coat and boots giving a cozy winter vibe. The background shows a rustic wall and a glass window with a movie poster.

The actress seems to have taken a short break from her busy film schedule to explore the scenic landscapes of Switzerland.

Sapthami Gowda made her acting debut in 2020 with the Kannada film Popcorn Monkey Tiger, directed by Duniya Suri, alongside actor Dhananjaya. However, her real breakthrough came with Rishab Shetty’s film Kantara in 2022, where she played the role of Leela, a strong and grounded village girl. Her natural performance won hearts across India and earned her several awards, including a Filmfare Award South and two SIIMA Awards.

After the massive success of Kantara, Sapthami starred in Yuva, directed by Santhosh Ananddram, alongside Yuva Rajkumar. She is also making her Bollywood debut with The Vaccine War directed by Vivek Agnihotri. The actress is now preparing for her Telugu debut opposite Nithin in the upcoming film Thamuudu, directed by Venu Sriram.

Apart from acting, Sapthami is known for her social work. She was appointed as the brand ambassador for the Karnataka government’s “Nanna Maithri” scheme, which helps distribute menstrual cups to young girls across the state. She was also the brand ambassador for the T-20 World Cup for the Blind (2022), organized by the Samarthanam Trust for the Blind.

Recently, Sapthami was in the news for filing a defamation case related to the Yuva Rajkumar divorce controversy, where her name was mentioned without reason. The actress clarified that she had no personal connection with Yuva beyond their professional collaboration and sought legal action to protect her reputation.
