Born on 8 June 1996 in Bengaluru, Sapthaami (also spelled Sapthami) transitioned from a software engineer at Accenture to acting. She made her debut in the 2020 Kannada crime thriller Popcorn Monkey Tiger as Girija and won the SIIMA Award for Best Female Debut – Kannada.

Her breakthrough came with the blockbuster Kantara (2022), where she played Leela opposite Rishab Shetty, earning SIIMA Critics and Filmfare Critics Best Actress awards. She later debuted in Hindi with The Vaccine War (2023), starred in Yuva (2024), and made her Telugu debut in Thammudu (2025) as Ratna opposite Nithiin.

Upcoming projects include The Rise of Ashoka (2026) as Ambika, Halagali, and Kaali. With her grounded performances and rising pan-Indian presence, Sapthaami Gowda continues to shine.
