Actress Sameera Reddy is once again getting attention on social media after sharing a beautiful post about confidence and personal happiness. The actress uploaded pictures wearing a light floral saree and spoke honestly about how her thinking towards dressing up has changed over the years.

In her Instagram post, Sameera Reddy said that she no longer feels pressure to look perfect all the time. She shared that earlier she used to worry a lot about appearances and trying to match society’s expectations. But now, she prefers being comfortable and confident in her own style. She wrote that life feels much more peaceful after letting go of that pressure. She also asked women whether they agreed with her thoughts. In the post, she mentioned the profile names House of Neeta Lulla and Neeta Lulla while talking about her saree look.

At the same time, Sameera Reddy has also been in the news for her comments on the ongoing discussion about 8-hour work shifts in the film industry. The debate became popular after reports claimed actress Deepika Padukone requested shorter working hours after becoming a mother. Reports also suggested that her exit from projects like Spirit and the sequel of Kalki 2898 AD increased discussions in the industry about flexible schedules for women.

Speaking about the topic during a recent interview, Sameera said she understands both sides of the issue. According to her, asking for shorter working hours is still considered a luxury for many women in India because such flexibility is not easily available everywhere. She explained that workplaces should allow women to make choices, especially after motherhood, but she also understands the pressure faced by producers and filmmakers.

Sameera also spoke about her own experience as a mother. She shared that she personally took a break from acting after giving birth to her children because she wanted to spend time with them. The actress said every mother faces difficult choices between work and family life. She added that sometimes adjustments are necessary from both sides to make things work smoothly.

Currently, Sameera Reddy is promoting her upcoming film Aakhri Sawal with actor Sanjay Dutt.
