In the magazine post shared by thenodmag, Samantha spoke honestly about her early life in Chennai. She revealed that acting was never part of her original plan. Samantha said she was the youngest among three siblings and was focused more on studies during her younger days. According to her, she entered modelling during a gap year after college and attended a film audition just for fun.
Samantha also shared that she initially thought acting would only be temporary. She explained that she planned to work in films for one year and later continue her studies. The actress even joked that some of her teachers were probably disappointed when she became an actress instead of focusing on academics.
The post further revealed another interesting side of Samantha. She said she is now enjoying her entrepreneurial journey and feels this is something she always wanted to do. Samantha mentioned that her interests are spread across films, beauty, wellness, fashion, food, and sports.
The feature also mentioned that Chloe Chou travelled to Hyderabad for the interview. The creative team behind the photoshoot included Megha Mahindru, Ridhima Sapre, Yiiooi, Jeff Wang Yu, Naheedee, Jay Modi, Harry Aiyer, Niks Moses, Mehak Jindal, Ria, Visualsbypurnima, Savleen Manchanda, and Mitesh Rajani. Production support was handled by IKP Insta, Imran Khatri, Radhika Chemburkar, and Vishal Baniya. The post also credited Bazinga Entertainment as the artist PR agency.
Meanwhile, Samantha is also busy with her upcoming Telugu film Maa Inti Bangaram. The movie was originally planned for release on May 15, but the team recently postponed it to June 19 because of the IPL season. The makers reportedly wanted audiences across the Telugu states to enjoy the cricket season without affecting the film’s theatrical run.
The film stars Samantha alongside Gulshan Devaiah and is directed by Nandini Reddy. Speaking about Samantha, Gulshan Devaiah recently shared that working with her was a wonderful experience. He said they shared very good chemistry on screen and added that he was happy to finally work with her after discussing the idea earlier with Raj Nidimoru.
