Meanwhile Samantha is collaborating with director Nandini Reddy for a new film titled Ma Inti Bangaram. While the title suggests a family drama, the movie will actually be a period crime thriller set in the 1980s. This project is expected to mark a fresh direction in Samantha's career, as she seeks to bounce back from her recent films that didn't perform well.

Samantha who gained attention for her role in Oh Baby, is hoping to recreate that success with this film. Her recent projects including Yashoda and Shakuntalam were female-centric but didn't achieve a major hit at the box office. However, her production venture, Subham, was well-received, and now Samantha is eager to prove her talent once again in Telugu cinema with this new thriller.

This will be her second collaboration with Nandini Reddy after their first project Jabardasth didn’t fare well. But they found success together in Oh Baby, and now Samantha hopes to continue their successful partnership with Ma Inti Bangaram. Although the full cast and crew details are yet to be revealed, Samantha is excited about exploring the crime thriller genre.
