Samantha made her acting debut in 2010 with the Telugu romantic drama Ye Maaya Chesave (lead role as Jessie), simultaneously appearing in the Tamil Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa. She went on to become one of South India’s most celebrated actresses with hits like Eega, Dookudu, Mahanati, Rangasthalam, Oh Baby, and Yashoda.
Her recent success includes the 2026 blockbuster Maa Inti Bangaaram (which she also produced), a female-led action drama that crossed ₹100 crore. Ongoing projects feature her as host of Celebrity MasterChef Tamil on Sony Vizha, the Netflix series Rakt Brahmand: The Bloody Kingdom, and continued production under her banner Tralala Moving Pictures.
