Born on April 28, 1987, Samantha made her acting debut in 2010 with a lead role in the Telugu film Ye Maaya Chesave (Tamil version: Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa), winning the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. She rose to stardom with blockbuster hits like Eega, Attarintiki Daredi, Theri, Mersal, Rangasthalam, Maharshi, and Kushi.Known as one of South India’s finest actresses, she has delivered powerful performances across Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi cinema.
After overcoming health challenges, Samantha made a strong comeback with Citadel: Honey Bunny and a cameo in Subham, which she also produced.Her upcoming projects include the much-awaited self-produced Telugu film Maa Inti Bangaaram (releasing June 19, 2026), the Netflix series Rakt Brahmand: The Bloody Kingdom, and other exciting ventures. Samantha continues to inspire with her resilience, versatility, and entrepreneurial spirit.
