Rukmini Vasanth Brings Back the Grace of 'Kantara' Promotions

Actress Rukmini Vasanth is known for her elegant charm and expressive performances recently shared a beautiful photo on Instagram. In this post, she wrote, “Throwing it back to Kantara promotions and to Pragati Rishab Shetty for bringing these looks together.” This caption was a sweet reminder of the time when she promoted Kantara: Chapter 1, one of her most loved projects of 2025.

In the photo, Rukmini is seen wearing a gorgeous traditional yellow saree with a maroon border and a stylish maroon blouse. The saree perfectly complements her natural grace and adds a festive touch to her look. The entire styling captures the essence of South Indian culture while highlighting Rukmini’s timeless beauty.

On the personal front, Rukmini Vasanth completed her studies at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London, which gave her strong training in acting and performance.

Rukmini began her film career with the 2019 Kannada movie Birbal Trilogy, where she starred opposite M. G. Srinivas. Her real breakthrough came in 2023 with the romantic drama Sapta Saagaradaache Ello, released in two parts Side A and Side B. Her emotional performance as Priya won her the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actress Kannada.

In 2025, Rukmini impressed audiences once again with her role in Kantara: Chapter 1, a prequel to the 2022 hit film Kantara. Critics praised her strong screen presence and natural acting. She has also expanded her career into Tamil and Telugu cinema, working with top stars like Vijay Sethupathi, Sivakarthikeyan, and Nikhil Siddhartha.
