While Rukmini is making waves online, she is also in the news for her upcoming film projects. After the success of Bison, several rumours started circulating about Dhruv Vikram’s next film. One strong buzz suggested that he would team up with legendary filmmaker Mani Ratnam for a romantic project. It was also said that Rukmini Vasanth would be the female lead.

Now, new updates suggest that Dhruv Vikram and Rukmini Vasanth will definitely work together. However, the film will not be directed by Mani Ratnam. Instead, debut director Deepak Reddy will helm the project. He earlier received praise for his short film Manasanamaha. The upcoming movie is said to be a romantic comedy with a fresh and youthful feel. Popular actress Sreeleela is also expected to play an important role in this film.

Reports say that leading production house Mythri Movie Makers is planning to launch Dhruv Vikram in Telugu cinema with this project. Music will be composed by Sai Abyankkar, who is currently one of the most sought-after music directors.

Meanwhile, Rukmini Vasanth is also rumored to be part of a Naga Chaitanya film. However, there is no confirmation yet. She was last seen in the Kannada blockbuster Kantara Part 2.
