Rukmini Vasanth, born on December 10, 1996, in Bengaluru, Karnataka, is a talented Indian actress known for her work in Kannada, Tamil, and Telugu cinema. Trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in London, she made her film debut with the Kannada movie Birbal Trilogy: Case 1 – Finding Vajramuni (2019).

She rose to prominence with her critically acclaimed performance as Priya in the romantic drama Sapta Saagaradaache Ello (Side A & Side B, 2023), winning the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actress. She further solidified her position with powerful roles in Bhairathi Ranagal, Madharaasi, Ace, and especially as Kanakavathi in the pan-Indian blockbuster Kantara: Chapter 1 (2025).

As of 2026, Rukmini is generating huge excitement with her role in the major action film Toxic and other promising projects across South Indian languages. With her trained craft, emotional depth, and growing pan-Indian appeal, Rukmini Vasanth continues to shine as one of Kannada cinema’s brightest young talents.
