Rukmini Vasanth captures her quiet intensity perfectly. Seated on a blue sofa, she rests her chin thoughtfully on one hand, long dark curly hair cascading over her shoulders. Dressed in a simple white V-neck ribbed top and light blue jeans, with a delicate necklace, she radiates natural poise and understated charm against a soft indoor backdrop.

Born in Bengaluru, Rukmini trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London. She made her film debut in the 2019 Kannada thriller Birbal Trilogy Case 1: Finding Vajramuni. Her breakthrough arrived with the 2023 two-part romantic drama Sapta Saagaradaache Ello: Side A and Side B opposite Rakshit Shetty, earning her the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actress – Kannada.

She followed with strong roles in Baanadariyalli, Bagheera, and Bhairathi Ranagal, made her Telugu debut in Appudo Ippudo Eppudo (2024), and entered Tamil cinema with Ace and Madharaasi (2025). Her powerful turn as Kanakavathi in the blockbuster Kantara: Chapter 1 (2025) brought wider recognition.

Ongoing projects include the 2026 release Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups opposite Yash, the high-profile Dragon with Jr NTR (filming), the Malayalam film NP51 opposite Nivin Pauly, and Mangala Gowri. From intimate dramas to pan-Indian spectacles, Rukmini continues to impress with versatile, memorable performances.
