Ruhi Singh: Pageant Queen to Bollywood Actress

Ruhi Singh, born on October 12, 1995, in Jaipur, Rajasthan, is an Indian actress and model. She first gained attention as a beauty pageant contestant, finishing as 1st Runner-up at Femina Miss India East 2011 and later winning Miss Universal Peace and Humanity 2014. She also appeared in the Emmy-nominated documentary The World Before Her (2012).Ruhi made her Bollywood debut in Madhur Bhandarkar’s ensemble drama Calendar Girls (2015), playing Mayuri Chauhan.

She followed it with Ishq Forever (2016), the Tamil film Bongu (2017) as Janani, and the Telugu techno-thriller Mosagallu (2021) as Mohini. She expanded into digital platforms with acclaimed performances in web series such as Chakravyuh and Runaway Lugaai (2021), earning a Filmfare OTT Awards nomination for Best Actress for the latter.
