By: Priya Chowdhary Nuthalapti | 21 Feb 2026 9:50 PM ISTActor Ruhani Sharma recently shared a calm and meaningful moment on Instagram through her profile ruhanisharma94. One of the photo shows her sitting quietly at night, wrapped in a traditional shawl, with her hands gently folded. Along with the picture, she wrote, “Every step, every blessing by His grace and love. Govinda Govinda.” All the photos are from her visit to Tirumala and few more temples.
She was last seen in Tamil film Mask, which marks her full-fledged debut in Tamil cinema. The film is directed by Vikarnan Ashok and stars Kavin and Andrea Jeremiah. In Mask, Ruhani plays a character named Rathi. She has described Rathi as lively, modern, and thoughtful.
One interesting aspect of her preparation was how costumes helped her understand the role better. Ruhani has shared that wearing the character’s clothes helped her step into Rathi’s mindset. She felt that clothing can influence how a character thinks and behaves, making the performance more natural.
The film Mask has an unusual mix of humour, romance, and social themes. Ruhani is no stranger to working across industries. From Telugu films like Chi La Sow to recent projects such as Sriranga Neethulu and Agra, she has explored varied roles. She strongly believes that emotions do not belong to one language. For her, cinema is about learning cultures, understanding people, and growing with every project.
