An engineering graduate, she began with short films before entering mainstream movies. She made her feature film debut with a supporting role in Baadshah (2013) and took her first lead in Prema Ishq Kaadhal the same year. Her breakthrough came with the romantic comedy Pelli Choopulu (2016) opposite Vijay Deverakonda, where she played the ambitious Chitra.
The film earned her the Nandi Award for Best Actress and the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actress – Telugu. She has since delivered notable performances in Yevade Subramanyam, Keshava, the Tamil hit Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal (2020), Oke Oka Jeevitham (2022), Mark Antony (2023), Swag (2024), and Mazaka (2025). Upcoming projects include the long-awaited Dhruva Natchathiram with Vikram and BharataVarsha.
