She made her feature film debut in a supporting role in Baadshah (2013) and took the lead in Prema Ishq Kaadhal the same year. Her breakthrough came with the 2016 Telugu romantic comedy Pelli Choopulu, opposite Vijay Deverakonda, earning her the Nandi Award for Best Actress and Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actress – Telugu.
