Ritika Singh's Curly-Haired Glam Look Steals the Spotlight

Born in Mumbai in 1994, Ritika Singh first built a name as a mixed martial artist and kickboxer. She represented India at the 2009 Asian Indoor Games and competed in the Super Fight League before transitioning to films.

She made her acting debut in 2016 with the bilingual sports drama Irudhi Suttru (Tamil) / Saala Khadoos (Hindi), directed by Sudha Kongara and co-starring R. Madhavan. Portraying a talented yet undisciplined boxer, her authentic performance earned a National Film Award Special Mention and Filmfare Awards across Tamil, Hindi, and the Telugu remake Guru.

Singh has since worked predominantly in Tamil cinema while appearing in Hindi, Telugu, and Malayalam projects. Notable films include Aandavan Kattalai, Shivalinga, Oh My Kadavule, InCar, Kolai, a special appearance in King of Kotha, and a key investigative role in Vettaiyan (2024) opposite Rajinikanth. She has also featured in web series such as Bench Life.

Ongoing and upcoming work includes the delayed Tamil film Vanangamudi (directed by Selva, opposite Arvind Swamy) and projects like Boxer. Her journey from the ring to the screen continues to showcase versatility and determination.
