Born Regina Cassandra on December 13, 1990, in Chennai, the actress (who has adopted the spelling Regena Cassandrra) began her journey early. She made her acting debut at age 14 in a supporting role in the Tamil film Kanda Naal Mudhal (2005). Her breakthrough came with the Telugu romantic drama Siva Manasulo Sruthi (2012), earning her the SIIMA Award for Best Female Debut – Telugu. She has since built a versatile career across Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi cinema, delivering memorable performances in films like Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga, Awe!, Evaru, Chakra, and her Bollywood entry Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga (2019). She also gained acclaim for her role in the series Rocket Boys.
With over 20 years in the industry, Regena continues to evolve. Recent and ongoing projects include VidaaMuyarchi, Kesari Chapter 2, Jaat, and upcoming films like Mookuthi Amman 2.
