While her New Year celebration won hearts, Reba Monica John has also been in the news for a very special reason related to her professional journey. Recently, she opened up about an unforgettable experience from the sets of the film Coolie released last year.

Reba shared that she had once missed the opportunity to be part of another Rajinikanth film due to unexpected reasons. That decision stayed with her for a long time and left her with a sense of regret. So, when Coolie came her way through costume designer Praveen, she did not think twice. She accepted the offer instantly.

Her first day on the sets was extra special because she shot her scenes with the superstar right away. She recalled feeling both excited and nervous. However, what surprised her the most was Rajinikanth’s simplicity.

One of Reba’s most treasured memories from the shoot was when Rajinikanth personally appreciated her performance. After a shot, he walked up to her and told her she did well. Hearing those words from him made the moment truly special and emotional for her.

In Coolie, Reba plays the sister of Shruti Haasan and the daughter of Sathyaraj. The film also features a strong cast including Nagarjuna, Upendra, and Soubin Shahir, with special appearances by Aamir Khan and Pooja Hegde.
