This fresh holiday update comes at a time when Rakul has been in the news for her dedication to work and her recent revelation about dealing with a serious back injury. In a detailed interview, she opened up about how she managed to shoot De De Pyaar De 2 while recovering from a painful spine injury. She explained that she had completed nearly 50% of the film when the injury forced her to pause everything. For 40 days, she was bedridden and unable to stand or walk on her own.

Rakul shared that the team had to take a three-month break so she could recover. Even after returning to the set, she could not sit normally and had to shoot many scenes while resting on a physio bed. The healing process took nearly a year, and she described the journey as both slow and emotionally difficult.
