Born on 9 April 1989 in Ooty, Tamil Nadu, Raiza Wilson first gained widespread attention as a contestant on Bigg Boss Tamil Season 1 in 2017. She made her film debut with an uncredited role in Velaiilla Pattadhari 2 (2017) and rose to prominence with her lead performance as Sindhuja in the romantic drama Pyaar Prema Kaadhal (2018), earning the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut – South.

She followed it with roles in Dhanusu Raasi Neyargale (2019), Varmaa (2020), FIR (2022) as Anisha Qureshi, Poikkal Kuthirai (2022), Coffee with Kadhal (2022), and Karungaapiyam (2023).

In 2026, she appeared in the action thriller Mr. X as Nirmala/Kamini and stars in the horror sci-fi film Nova. She also has the completed Telugu project The Chase and other films in the pipeline. With her striking screen presence and bold style, Raiza continues to make her mark in Tamil cinema.
