Radhika Ambani Makes A Powerful Style Statement While Hosting Queen Rania

Styled by Rhea Kapoor, Radhika wore a rare haute couture outfit from Chanel, inspired by the brand’s famous Paris–Bombay Métiers d’Art era. The base of Radhika’s outfit was a satin couture ensemble with clean tailoring and a soft shine. What made it special was the dhoti-style skirt, which added an Indian touch without looking heavy or traditional. Over this, she wore a textured tweed coat draped over her shoulders. The coat featured delicate pearl detailing, a signature element of Chanel that represents elegance and timeless beauty.

Small details added deeper meaning to the look. Navratna-style buttons brought cultural and astrological symbolism, while pearl work by Amrapali Jewels highlighted Indian craftsmanship. The Paris Bombay collection was originally created under Karl Lagerfeld. Even though he never visited India, his designs imagined a world where Indian culture and Western couture could exist together respectfully. This collection remains an important reference in global fashion even today.
