Apart from her cinematic journey, Raai Laxmi has often been in the limelight due to her past relationship with former cricketer MS Dhoni. The relationship, which began around 2008, was widely speculated but never confirmed by the couple. Despite the rumors and media attention, Raai Laxmi later described their bond as a 'scar' or 'stain' that would not fade away. In an interview, she explained that while their breakup was amicable, the constant media probing into her past had been difficult for her.
