Born on October 5, 1989, in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, the 36-year-old former software engineer (TCS) transitioned into acting after short films. She made her film debut with a small role in the 2016 bilingual drama Oopiri (Telugu/Tamil). Her breakthrough came with Sukumar’s blockbuster Rangasthalam (2018), where she played Padma opposite Ram Charan, earning widespread recognition.

She followed it up with supporting roles in Happy Wedding (2018), Brand Babu (2018), Kalki (2019) as SI Palapitta, Where Is the Venkatalakshmi (2019), Odela Railway Station (2022), and Ravanasura (2023). Pujita has successfully balanced Telugu and Tamil cinema, showcasing her versatility in both commercial and character-driven roles.

In 2025, she appeared in Hari Hara Veera Mallu (as Jalaja, with a special song sequence), Desingu Raja 2 (as Chandralekha), Padaiyaanda Maaveeraa (as Guru’s wife), and Konjam Kadhal Konjam Modhal. As of April 2026, she continues to be active with projects including Harikatha and is reportedly filming Bhagavan.
