Born on 5 October 1989 in Visakhapatnam and raised in Chennai, Pujita worked as a software engineer at Tata Consultancy Services before switching to acting. She began with short films and made her feature debut in 2016 with the bilingual Oopiri (also known as Thozha in Tamil).

Her breakthrough came with the critically acclaimed Rangasthalam (2018), where she played Padma opposite Ram Charan. She followed it with notable roles in Kalki (2019), Miss India (2020), Odela Railway Station (2022), and Ravanasura (2023).

In recent years she expanded into Tamil cinema with Jolly O Gymkhana (2024) and appeared in 2025 releases including Desingu Raja 2, Konjam Kadhal Konjam Modhal, Hari Hara Veera Mallu, and Padaiyaanda Maaveeraa. Upcoming projects include Bhagavan (2026). From IT professional to versatile actress across Telugu and Tamil screens, Pujita continues to shine with her natural charm.
