An engineering graduate who switched to acting, Priyanka made her film debut with the Kannada thriller Ondh Kathe Hella (2019). She gained wider recognition in the same year with her Telugu debut in the hit action-comedy Gang Leader opposite Nani. Her Tamil entry came with the blockbuster Doctor (2021) alongside Sivakarthikeyan, where she won the SIIMA Award for Best Debutant Actress. She has since delivered notable performances in Don (2022), Etharkkum Thunindhavan (2022) with Suriya, Captain Miller (2024) with Dhanush, and Saripodhaa Sanivaaram (2024) with Nani. In 2025, she appeared as Dr. Kanmani in They Call Him OG opposite Pawan Kalyan.
Her recent standout project is the Netflix romantic drama Made in Korea (released March 2026), where she plays Shenbagam (Shenba), a young woman from Tamil Nadu on a journey of self-discovery in Seoul. The film has received warm praise for her genuine and endearing performance.
Ongoing projects include Kavin #9 (fantasy romantic comedy with Kavin), JR 30, Arasan with Vetri Maaran, and the Kannada spy drama 666 Operation Dream Theatre.
With her natural acting and pan-Indian appeal, Priyanka Mohan is steadily carving a strong niche in Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada films.
