In her latest Instagram post, she is seen wearing a beautiful red traditional dress. The photo was taken indoors near a staircase,. Priyanka Jawalkar before entering the film industry, Priyanka did not have any strong film background. Her journey started when she shared a few of her photos on social media. These pictures caught attention and helped her get offers to act in short films. She worked in two short films titled Possessiveness and It’s A Girl Issue. These projects gave her early recognition and helped her understand acting better.
Priyanka also completed an eight-month statistics course at Harvard in the United States. After returning to India, she decided to fully focus on acting. In 2016, she joined acting classes and trained for four months. After completing her training, her photographs were sent to a leading production house, which opened the door to films.
She made her acting debut in 2017 with the Telugu film Kala Varam Aaye. This marked the beginning of her professional career. In 2018, she appeared in Taxiwala alongside Vijay Deverakonda. The film became a box office success and brought her wider recognition among Telugu audiences.
After a short break, 2021 became an important year for her career. She acted in Thimmarusu, where she played a supporting but meaningful role. She later appeared in SR Kalyanamandapam as a college student, showing a softer and relatable character. Her final release of that year was Gamanam, where she played a Muslim girl named Zara. Her performance in this film earned her a Filmfare nomination for Best Supporting Actress – Telugu.
