Priya Prakash Varrier who shot to fame as the “wink girl,” is now making waves in the Tamil film industry. After her debut in Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam (NEEK) alongside Dhanush, she has gained popularity through her latest film Good Bad Ugly (GBU).

In a recent interview she shared few interesting things. “I feel blessed and grateful for all the love I’ve received for GBU,” she says. The song Thottu Thottu Pesum became a special moment for her as she says, “I’m excited about paying a tribute to a legendary actress like Simran ma’am.”

Talking about her co-stars, Priya shares that working with Ajith was a memorable experience. “Ajith sir is a beautiful human inside and out. We spoke about family, travel, and cars. It was such a joy to share time with him,” she recalls. She also appreciated working with Arjun Das, calling him “sweet and passionate.”

Priya, who has worked in five languages already, says the language barrier hasn’t been much of a problem. “I can understand Telugu and Kannada now, and Tamil has been easy to learn,” she says.

Grateful for her viral fame, Priya says, “That wink changed my life. Now, I want to grow beyond that and shine through my future work.”
