Born in 1989, Priya began as a news presenter on Puthiya Thalaimurai and acted in the serial Kalyanam Mudhal Kadhal Varai. She made her film debut with the successful Tamil romantic comedy Meyaadha Maan (2017) opposite Vaibhav, earning a SIIMA Best Female Debut nomination.

She went on to star in hits including Kadaikutty Singam (2018), Monster (2019), Mafia: Chapter 1 (2020), Thiruchitrambalam (2022), Pathu Thala (2023), and Demonte Colony 2 (2024). Expanding to Telugu cinema with films like Zebra and the series Dhootha, her recent and ongoing projects include the warmly received Irumudi (with Ravi Teja), Demonte Colony 3, and Maragadha Naanayam 2.
