An M.Tech graduate from BITS Pilani, she previously worked as a software engineer at Wipro before transitioning to modeling and acting.

She made her film debut with the Kannada romantic thriller Escape and entered Telugu cinema with Samaram (2019). She gained recognition with roles in Suraapanam (2022) as Parvati, the Amazon Prime thriller Chakravyuham: The Trap (2023) as Shilpa, and the fantasy horror Kalinga (2024) as Paddu. Other credits include Bengaluru Boys, Janam, We Love Bad Boys, and Fauji. Her ongoing and upcoming projects include Mission C1000 (2026), Ugly Story, and Mad Square. From engineering to the silver screen, Pragya continues to build her presence in South Indian cinema with versatile performances.
