Coming to her personal life, Pragya Jaiswal was born on 12 January 1987 in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. She studied at Symbiosis Law School in Pune. During her college days, she took part in beauty contests and later started modeling. Her interest in acting slowly grew, and she entered the film industry.

She made her acting debut in 2014 with the Tamil film Virattu. In the same year, she also appeared in the Hindi film Titoo MBA. However, her big breakthrough came in 2015 with the Telugu film Kanche. Her role in this film was highly appreciated, and she won the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut – South. This film helped her gain recognition and opened more opportunities in her career.

After that, Pragya appeared in several films such as Nakshatram, Achari America Yatra, and Jaya Janaki Nayaka. One of her most successful films is Akhanda (2021), which became a big hit at the box office. She played an important role in the film, and it added to her popularity. She also worked in Son of India and continues to explore new projects.

Apart from films, she also appeared in a music video titled “Main Chala,” where she showed a different side of her performance.
