She made her acting debut in 2014 with the Tamil film Virattu and the Hindi comedy Titoo MBA. Her real breakthrough arrived the following year with the period drama Kanche, where her performance as Sita Devi earned her the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut – South. She went on to appear in films such as Nakshatram, Achari America Yatra, and the 2021 blockbuster Akhanda opposite Nandamuri Balakrishna, which remains one of her highest-grossing releases.

In recent years she returned to Hindi cinema with the ensemble comedy Khel Khel Mein (2024) and reunited with Balakrishna in Daaku Maharaaj (2025). She also featured in Akhanda 2: Thaandavam. Her ongoing projects include the Hindi film Suryaa: Ant Se Aarambh Tak (opposite Sunny Deol, currently in post-production) and the Telugu actioner Tyson Naidu.
