Poonam Bajwa has built a career across Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada cinema. She made her acting debut with the Telugu film Modati Cinema in 2005 after beginning her journey as a model and being crowned Miss Pune. She later appeared in films such as Boss, Parugu, Seval, Thenavattu, Kacheri Aarambam, China Town, Venicile Vyapari, Romeo Juliet, Aranmanai 2, Masterpiece, Pathonpatham Noottandu, Mei Hoom Moosa and Gurumoorthy.

More recently, Poonam appeared as Dr. Fathima in the Telugu survival drama series Arabia Kadali, which premiered on Prime Video in August 2025. With her multi-language film journey and timeless screen presence, fans continue to look forward to her next projects.
