Payal Rajput has built a strong name in Telugu and Punjabi films. Her journey into the acting world began at a young age, and over the years, she has slowly grown into a recognisable face in the film industry.

She started her acting journey in 2010 with the Hindi television serial Sapnon Se Bhare Naina, where she played the character Sonakshi. This role gave her an early introduction to the entertainment world and helped her understand the basics of acting. Later, she appeared in several other TV shows like Aakhir Bahu Bhi Toh Beti Hee Hai, Gustakh Dil, and Maha Kumbh: Ek Rahasaya, Ek Kahani.

In 2017, she stepped into the Punjabi film industry with the movie Channa Mereya. In this film, she played the role of Kainaat Dhillon.

Her entry into Telugu cinema came with the film RX 100 in 2018. This movie became a major talking point, and her performance earned her the SIIMA Award for Best Female Debut – Telugu.
