Born on 5 December 1992, Payal began her career on television with Sapnon Se Bhare Naina (2010). She made her film debut in the Punjabi movie Channa Mereya (2017), winning the Filmfare Award Punjabi for Best Debut Actress. Her Hindi debut followed with Veerey Ki Wedding (2018).

Her major breakthrough came with the Telugu film RX 100 (2018), earning her the SIIMA Award for Best Female Debut – Telugu. She went on to appear in Venky Mama, Disco Raja, Ginna, Mangalavaaram, and Rakshana.

Upcoming projects include the Tamil film Leader (2026), Golmaal, Kirathaka, and the Punjabi film The Great Punjab Robbery. With her versatile presence across Telugu, Punjabi, and Tamil cinema, Payal continues to take on diverse roles.
