Born on August 13, 1996, in Mangalore, Karnataka, Payal Radhakrishna is a model-turned-actress working primarily in Kannada, Tamil, and Telugu cinema. She began modeling in 2014 with Prasad Bidapa Model Management and appeared in commercials for brands like Amazon, Rexona, and Bhima Jewellers.

She made her film debut in the Kannada movie Bangalore Underworld (2017) as Sirisha. Her breakthrough came with the critically acclaimed psychological thriller Bhinna (2019), directed by Adarsh Eshwarappa, where she played dual roles of Kaveri and Devaki. The film earned international recognition, including awards at the Madrid International Film Festival and a Dadasaheb Phalke honour.

She expanded to Tamil with the Zee5 series Singa Penne (2020–2021) as Mahalakshmi and appeared in the Telugu series Tharagathi Gadhi Daati (2021). Later films include Ala Ninnu Cheri (2023), Prasanna Vadanam (2024), and Chaurya Paatham (2025).
