This striking outdoor photograph captures actress Payal Radhakrishna in a graceful pose, draped in a vivid pink saree that beautifully showcases traditional Karnataka craftsmanship.

Celebrating the art of Kasuti—handcrafted with passion, worn with pride. Every stitch tells a story of Karnataka’s rich heritage. This beautiful saree made in Karnataka is crafted from a cotton-silk blend featuring intricate Kasuti embroidery from Dharwad, handmade by Sakhi Saphalya Crafts, a women’s collective of 500 rural women artists. The vibrant pink body, rich Ilkal border, and delicate Kasuti work together honour the state’s timeless cultural legacy.

Born in Mangalore on 13 August 1996, Payal began as a model before stepping into films. She made her debut in the 2017 Kannada thriller Bengaluru Underworld. Her breakthrough came with the critically acclaimed Bhinna (2019), which earned international recognition including awards at the Madrid Film Festival and a Dadasaheb Phalke honour. She later expanded into Tamil with the Zee5 series Singa Penne and Telugu cinema with films like Ala Ninnu Cheri.

Recent and ongoing projects include Prasanna Vadanam, Satyabhama, Chaurya Paatham, Neeli Megha Shyama, Kumaara Sambavam, Apoorva Puthranmar, Papam Prathap and Mr. Work From Home.
