Pawan Kalyan Croons "Washi O Washi" For OG

Director Sujeeth who wrapped up the shoot of Pawan Kalyan's OG the other day took to social media to share a picture where Pawan is crooning a song in the recording studio. The director posted the picture and wrote, "Washi oo Washi."

"Washi oo washi" is a Japanese phrase that translates simply as washi is indeed washi. The phrase repeats "washi" to confirm the identity of this traditional Japanese paper, which is made by hand from the inner bark of plants like the gampi tree, paper mulberry (kōzo), or mitsumata shrub.

It looks like Sujeeth has filled OG with a lot of Japanese cultural elements, and we hope to see a lot of such stuff during the promotions and on the big screen. The makers are releasing a new song Guns and Roses today evening and the buzz is expected to grow furthermore.

OG is hitting the screens on September 25th, and we hope to see paid premieres happening on the 24th of this month.
