Born Parvathy Venugopal Nair in Abu Dhabi to a Malayali family, she began modelling as a teenager before entering films. Her acting debut came in the 2012 Malayalam anthology Poppins, directed by V.K. Prakash, where she played Julie. She followed it with the Kannada film Story Kathe (2013), earning the SIIMA Award for Best Female Debutant – Kannada.
Nair has built a versatile career across South Indian cinema and beyond. Notable roles include Elizabeth in the Tamil hit Yennai Arindhaal (2015) opposite Ajith Kumar, Naina in the Malayalam thriller Neerali (2018), and Pammie Gavaskar in the Hindi sports drama 83 (2021). More recently, she appeared in The Greatest of All Time (2024) and Super Zindagi (2024).
In 2025, she starred in the Kannada comedy Mr. Rani and the intense Tamil psychological thriller Unpaarvayil (also known as Un Paarvaiyil), playing a dual role that she described as one of her toughest. She also featured in the Tamil film Aalambana. With ongoing projects reflecting her range, Parvati remains a graceful presence both on screen and in cultural celebrations like Onam.
