Born on 14 May 1987 in Mumbai (professionally known as Nyrraa M Banerji, earlier Madhuurima), she began her career with the Telugu film Aa Okkadu in 2009. She followed with roles in Telugu hits like Orange and Temper, Tamil’s Aambala, Kannada and Malayalam films, and her Hindi outing in Kamaal Dhamaal Malamaal (2012). She gained wider notice with One Night Stand (2016) and also worked as an assistant director on Azhar.
On television, she shone in Divya Drishti and the popular supernatural show Pishachini. She participated in Khatron Ke Khiladi 13 and Bigg Boss 18. Recent work includes the Netflix series Khakee: The Bengal Chapter and the comedy film One Two Cha Cha Chaa (2026) opposite Ashutosh Rana. She continues balancing films, OTT, and selective projects with her signature bold screen presence.
