NTR and Rishab Shetty’s growing bond was beautifully seen at the grand pre-release event of Kantara Chapter 1 held in Hyderabad. Produced by Hombale Films, this much-awaited film is a prequel to the blockbuster Kantara. Despite being in pain, NTR attended the event as the chief guest, showing his deep respect and friendship with Rishab.

The event turned into a massive celebration, with a huge turnout. Rishab Shetty spoke in Kannada, expressing how language barriers no longer exist in Indian cinema. He sincerely thanked the Telugu audience for their love for Kantara and urged them to support Kantara Chapter 1 in theatres. Rishab also expressed gratitude to NTR for standing by him as a true friend.

NTR shared a heartfelt memory of Rishab Shetty’s warm hospitality when he helped him arrange a visit to the Udupi Krishna Temple for his mother. He said that Rishab left his work aside to help them, something he’d never forget. NTR also spoke about his roots in Kundapura and how he grew up hearing stories of Panjurli and Guliga Deva, which made Kantara hit even closer to home.

He admitted getting goosebumps while watching Kantara, crediting its Pan-India success to Rishab Shetty’s passion for storytelling. He urged everyone to experience Kantara Chapter 1 in theatres, calling it a must-watch cinematic spectacle.

The film is set to release on October 2nd in multiple languages, with Mythri Movie Makers handling the Telugu release.
