Born on 21 August 1996 in Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Nikki began as a model before entering films. She made her acting debut in the Telugu horror-comedy Chikati Gadilo Chithakotudu (2019) as Pooja. The same year she debuted in Tamil cinema with the blockbuster action-horror Kanchana 3 as Divya, a film that grossed over ₹130 crore worldwide. She followed it with Thipparaa Meesam (2019).

Her career expanded with a special appearance in the Hindi film Jogira Sara Ra Ra (2023) and her Punjabi debut in Badnaam (2025). She has also featured in music videos and supporting roles such as Ante Sundharaniki.

While films form the base of her work, Nikki rose to national fame through reality television. She finished as second runner-up on Bigg Boss 14, competed in Khatron Ke Khiladi 11, placed second on Bigg Boss Marathi 5, and was first runner-up on Celebrity MasterChef India (2025). In 2026 she appeared on The 50.

With an untitled project opposite Yogi Babu in the works, Nikki Tamboli continues to balance films and reality TV with charisma and confidence.
