Born on 13 November 1990 in Delhi, Nikita rose to fame after being a finalist in Femina Miss India 2012. She made her acting debut in the 2014 romantic drama Lekar Hum Deewana Dil. After gaining popularity on television with Dream Girl (2015) and the hit series Ek Duje Ke Vaaste (2016), she returned to films with Gold (2018) and earned widespread recognition for her role as Jiah Sharma in Kabir Singh (2019).
