Actress and producer Niharika Konidela has always been passionate about cinema. Her film Committee Kurrollu released on August 9, 2024, and became a huge success. The film received strong support both in theatres and on OTT platforms. Recently, the film once again gained attention for its achievements.

Committee Kurrollu was produced under the banners of Pink Elephant Pictures and Sri Radha Damodar Studios by Padmaja Konidela and Jayalakshmi Adapaka. Niharika, as an actress and producer, has been receiving awards and recognition for the project. The film, made on a budget of 9 crores, collected around 18.5 crores theatrically and 6 crores non-theatrically. With a total of 24.5 crores, it turned into a commercial hit. The movie also won awards at national and state levels.

The Telangana government honored the film at the Gaddar Awards for its message on unity and social harmony. Director Yadhu Vamsi won the Best Debut Director award. At the GAMA Awards, Niharika received Best Debut Producer and Yadhu won again as Best Debut Director. Recently at SIIMA 2025, the film earned more recognition. Niharika won Best Debut Producer and Sandeep Saroj won Best Debut Actor. She said, “This film will always remain close to my heart because it gave me the joy of creating history in Tollywood.”
