Recently Nia also shared a heartfelt note on Stories. She posted a picture of the late guard’s wife and child, along with details for those who wanted to help the family. She wrote, “Two kids, wife and parents left behind.” She even added a video of herself walking through narrow lanes that led to the family’s small one-room home. She captioned it, “This side of the world too.”

She recalled her daily moments with the guard. Nia explained, “He was a lift operator and our only interaction was while coming and going out of the elevator.” She added, “When you see a person every day, you get used to it. And in a jiffy, he’s gone, never to be seen again. It does hit you, and this hit me very hard.”
