He was elected as an MLA from the Bhagalpur Assembly constituency. Neha completed her schooling at Mount Carmel School in Bihar and later pursued a course in Fashion Design at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) in New Delhi.

She suffered from asthma at a young age and has previously mentioned in comments that a family from Hyderabad helped her overcome the condition. Her younger sister, Aisha Sharma, is also an actress. Aisha made her debut in the 2018 film Satyameva Jayate.

After Chirutha and Kurraadu, Neha Sharma has not done any other Telugu films. She has been working exclusively in Hindi cinema, entertaining audiences there.
