Born on 21 November 1987 in Bihar, Sharma trained in fashion design at NIFT New Delhi before entering films. She made her acting debut in the 2007 Telugu hit Chirutha opposite Ram Charan. Her Bollywood entry came with Mohit Suri’s Crook (2010). She went on to appear in films such as Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum (2012), Yamla Pagla Deewana 2 (2013), Tum Bin 2 (2016), Mubarakan (2017), the bilingual Solo (2017), and the blockbuster historical Tanhaji (2020) as Kamla Devi. Later credits include Jogira Sara Ra Ra (2023) and a role in Bad Newz (2024).
She successfully transitioned to digital platforms with the web series Illegal (2020–2024) as Advocate Niharika Singh and starred in 36 Days (2024). An upcoming project is the Punjabi film Sanjog.
With her versatile work across languages and formats, Neha Sharma continues to balance glamorous appearances with consistent performances.
